the tale of two sisters ... Sarah & Julia
Following on from our respective careers in the City and running a local café business, the time was right to turn our passion for home interiors into a reality. We had a vision of creating a rustic, cosy space to sell our vintage and artisan finds for home and garden, mainly sourced by us in the Périgord region of South West France. So after months of planning and gathering of treasures, The Faded Shed was born in late November 2019! - just a few months before lockdown!
We so enjoyed welcoming you all to our little shop over the years but as spending habits changed dramatically since the Covid pandemic and in light of the current economic climate, we took the difficult but sensible decision in the summer of 2023 to close our beloved shed and sell purely on-line via the website and Instagram.
It’s been a journey … and we are delighted to let you know that we now have a new showroom in Mark Cross, East Sussex, which is open by appointment only. Please get in touch via the Contact Us page if you would like to visit or direct message/call - we’d love to see you!
